Welcome to Ottie and the Bea

We are an independent family bookshop based in Framlingham in sunny Suffolk. The shop is named after our two daughters - Ottie and Bea. We first opened our doors in 2010 in London and have been offering a curated selection of books, toys, gifts and stationery ever since.

Everything in the shop is centred around our love of stories and play. We believe that play is fundamental not only in childhood but in adulthood too.

Thank you so much Julia for helping me put a bag together for my boys while we are isolating. Beautiful books, and DJECO products. Such good service to deliver to us and bring us a morning of delighted kids....plus many more... Happy kids, happy parents x
